Lovely to meet you.
Hi, my name is Lindsay Glover.
I love travel, I love marketing, I love food, I love consumer insights, I love photography, I love project management and I love being outdoors. Feel like you know me yet?
Equal parts creative and analytical, I love all things organization, coordination and well formatted documents, while also having a hobby of photography and running a food blog: Wine, Food & Friends. Here you will find some of my photography, links to my food blog and more details surrounding my resume and life in marketing.
Author of Wine, Food & Friends
What started as being my parents’ dessert chef has grown into a full love affair with food and passion for cooking. Thanks to my parents’ encouragement, countless dinner parties, plentiful tips, tricks, gadgets and recipes; I have written a cookbook, started a food blog and look for new recipes, techniques and ideas at every turn. I have worked with wineries and breweries, like Big Rock Brewery, to create new recipes to both pair with their products and use them.
Lens behind Lindsay Powell Photography
I have had a hobby of photography for the last 10 years, which has proved to be useful for a food blog. I also love to travel and document the beauty of the world, but usually can be found about 10 paces behind my friends taking photos of them. You will find shots here from everywhere from Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the Caribbean, to my hometown in the Pacific North West of Canada, to the Rocky Mountains where I now reside.
Brand Marketing Manager at Mark’s
I manage strategic marketing at Mark’s – including mass media campaigns, traditional media buying and vendor functions, overseeing an over $10M budget. Seasonal planning, end-to-end campaign planning, media buying, production and execution, promotional traditional media buying, grand opening support and vendor campaigns are all within my portfolio.
From traveling the world to enjoying your own backyard, I love exploring both places abroad and at home. Having visited 18 countries met countless interesting people with fascinating stories, it has given me an even greater appreciation for how amazing the world is.
